Vitamin Sintetik diperbuat daripada tar arang batu, paling murah kerana komponennya adalah bahan kimia dan di hasilkan dalam persekitaran makmal.Biasanya di jual di farmasi Jadi berhati-hati apabila memilih vitamin dan lihat label, biasanya ia dilabelkan dengan huru "l" berbanding huruf "d" bagi semulajadi.
